Meeting 3

Online

In this meeting we had the first couple of pages of the script done and we messaged over facebook how we think the script is going, we talked about more finer detail on how we want the characters to sound and their names. After looking up different meanings of names and the symbolism we wanted to show in our drama we decided on Red for the girl and Edward for the guy.

The BA then told us what he had found out and decided that if we set their mics to different channels he could create the effect for 3D which would be easier then booking out 5 mics.

To-Do-list:

Director: Finish the script

BA: Start looking/thinking about props we would need e.g. any free sounds online etc.

Producer: Attend the actors meeting and help the director with the script if she needs it

Meeting 2

In person

In this meeting we finalized that we would want too focus on 2 characters, one a middle age man the other a young 20-something year old girl. The Drama would focus on the conversation of these two characters as they struggle with their pass and their morale compass set in a dystopian world post a nuclear war. We also talked about how we would record the drama, the BA suggested using a mic in the middle of the room and 4 others mic in the corner but he was planning on doing more research before deciding.

We finished the Proposal.

To-Do-List:

-Director: Start first draft of script

-BA: research mics and how we would best record the drama

– Producer: Start Blog

Meeting 1

In person

In this meeting we discussed what roles we wanted to do, for our group we chose:

Director: Beth Taylor

Producer: Zoe Cocker

BA: Oli Cox

We then brainstormed our ideas for our Drama, we all wanted it to be 3D audio so the audience would feel immersed in the drama. We bounced around ideas of it being in different post-apocalyptic world e.g. zombie, nuclear etc. To scale down the project we went on it being between 2 characters  and have them in one location.

We started the proposal.
